Surfing
Ixtapa Zihuatanejo is well known for its surf and numerous surf spots are found along the almost 500 km coast of the State of Guerrero, with many spots in town and within an hour drive. The Ixtapa Zihuatanejo area is a year round surf destination, with the best surf from May to October, but November through March is still rideable most days. Don't bother with a wetsuit, you won't need it!

Sport Fishing
Mexico's Pacific Coast has long been famed for fabulous sport fishing, but the mecca for angling adventures is, without a doubt, Ixtapa Zihuatanejo. Fitting the adage "a well-kept secret", the dual destination has been praised by anglers "in the know", and for many decades has been considered as one of the best three places in the world for big game. Fishermen's success rates rival the highest compared to anywhere else and there are two to three annual international fishing events.

Island Adventure
This full day tour includes sports, adventure, nature, and relaxation – everything in one! The day begins with a 7-kilometer (4.3-mile) bicycle tour along the Ixtapa Bicycle trail, observing flora, wildlife and of course, the coastline. Arriving at Playa Linda, you board a skiff for a 10-minute ride to Ixtapa Island where you will enjoy 40 minutes of kayaking, then an hour of snorkeling on a colorful coral reef. Lunch is provided at a seaside restaurant and followed by an hour of relaxation at your leisure. You then return by boat to Playa Linda and visit the Cocodrilario, which is nature reserve for crocodiles as well as turtles, iguanas and a great variety of birds. Finally, you return by bicycle on the Ciclopista to Ixtapa.

Delfiniti
This unique Dolphinarium provides five unique experiences for guests of all ages – from newborns and up! With years of experience, Delfiniti Ixtapa is the only dolphinarium in Mexico certified by the Dolphin Assistance Foundation, to provide dolphin therapy. The extensive experiences provide guests with the opportunity to live a dream and truly swim with dolphins, not simply pose for photos. The programs all include an element of education and the friendly trainers are happy to share their knowledge & experience. Located only two blocks from the Hotel Krystal Ixtapa and on the Pacific Ocean, it is a guest favorite!

Bicycle Path (Ciclopista)
For cyclists, joggers, skaters, bird watchers and nature lovers. The path begins at Marina Ixtapa and continues past the Hotel Krystal Ixtapa to curve around the Marina Ixtapa Golf Club. The route continues up the coast through Aztlan Park, an ecological reserve that is home to crocodiles and exotic birds, to get to Playa Linda, for a total of 9.5 km. Bicycles are available for rent just outside Hotel Krystal Ixtapa Beach Resort gates and hotel room service is happy to pack a box lunch for guests to take on their ride with them, however this must be requested in advance.
